Sporting Houses
There are 3 sporting houses at Coolnwynpin. These are named after Australian native plants.
All students are placed into a sporting house on enrolment. Siblings are kept in the same sporting house. The three main sporting events where students compete to represent their house are the Cross Country Carnivals (Prep-Year 6), Athletics Carnivals (Prep-Year 6) and the Swimming Carnival (Years 3-6).
Interschool Sport
Students in Years 4, 5 and 6 have the opportunity to compete in our Interschool Sport Carnival Days.
Swimming
Swimming lessons for 2026 start on 2 November and run Monday to Thursday for 2 weeks until 12 November. They will be held at the Cleveland Aquatic Centre.
Cross Country
Cross country training starts at the beginning of the year with before school training as well as later in the term during PE lessons. Our Cross Country Carnival is held at the end of Term 1.
